For the local community

The great thing about the new building is that it is wonderfully flexible and versatile. If you want to hold regular classes or stand-alone workshops – in anything from yoga, dance, music rehearsals and watercolour painting to mums-and-toddlers sessions, literary groups and cooking courses – Clements Hall is worth checking out.

There is a great opportunity to make the building a centre of community activity, somewhere to connect to other people in the local area.

Maybe you want to set up an occasional film club showing non-mainstream movies or have somewhere to hold illustrated talks? What about using the Hall for your own fundraising events – tabletop sales, coffee mornings, concerts, Christmas fairs? On the social side you could also hire the Hall for children’s parties or special celebrations like wedding anniversaries (we can even lay on a bar).

Some of our local residents have particular needs, and Clements Hall can be used for advice and drop-in sessions as well as for therapy activities, or just somewhere to hold a simple weekly lunch for elderly and isolated residents, giving them the chance to meet and talk to other people, friends and neighbours.

But it doesn’t even have to stop there. Lots of groups and organisations need somewhere to hold meetings, seminars, training and conferences. Clements Hall can provide the perfect venue.

There is a great opportunity to make the building a centre for community activity, somewhere to connect to other people in the local area. Not only can you make contact with fellow residents, but Clements Hall can be a place where you can promote your own local activities, look for people to help you out or simply find others who have the same interests and outlook on life.

Clements Hall can be what you make it.
