Whatever event you want to celebrate, you can hold it here! We can get lots of people in the main hall -it has a capacity of 180 – and we’ve had birthdays with recorded music or with live musicians, we have a full-service kitchen that can be used for wedding or other receptions, or you can bring your own food in, or we can get a caterer to do it – it’s up to you.

The floor is good for dancing, the acoustics are lively and excellent for acoustic music and speech, and we have ampification too, if wanted. If you want a more formal setting we’ve plenty of tables and chairs, and can set them out into a single large dinner table, or scatter them randomly, or anything in between. We’re putting up hooks so you can hang your own decorations on the walls, and we’re putting in some basic theatre lighting at the screen end of the Hall.

The Art Room upstairs is very popular for children’s parties, as it is praetty well mess-proof, with wipe-clean floor and tables, as well as a sink and drainer. It’s a lovely light room, with plenty of space for young energetic people, as well as enough tables for both food and activities, and a big-screen TV for DVD’s.

The Meeting Room is both more comfortable and suited to more formal gatherings – buffets, meetings or receptions for example. It’s carpeted, with modern armchairs and tables that can be set out in any combination or none.

Throughout, there’s level access (with a lift to the Art Room) and a disabled toilet, a baby change unit, and hearing loops in all the public rooms.
