The main hall is our largest space, a large, light and pleasant room, and one that has probably the widest range of users.
It’s suitable for parties, receptions, public meetings, lectures and presentations, as well as training sessions, conferences, live performances and film showings, bring-and-buy sales and fundraising events. It has a semi-sprung wooden floor which makes it suitable for physical activities like yoga and dance. The hall not only has excellent projection and sound equipment including radio mikes, but also internet access (wi-fi and cabled) and an audio induction loop. There is even an entire stage lighting system for use in performances of plays, music and dance. The adjoining kitchen can be used to for catering preparation, as a refreshment servery or as a cash bar (operated by the centre management).
